Prince Charles: ‘Follow the Islamic way to save the world’

Well it certainly appears as if the Prince of Wales fell off the polo horse and hit his head once too often:

Prince Charles yesterday urged the world to follow Islamic ‘spiritual principles’ in order to protect the environment.

In an hour-long speech, the heir to the throne argued that man’s destruction of the world was contrary to the scriptures of all religions – but particularly those of Islam.

He said the current ‘division’ between man and nature had been caused not just by industrialisation, but also by our attitude to the environment – which goes against the grain of ‘sacred traditions’.

Charles, who is a practising Christian and will become the head of the Church of England when he succeeds to the throne, spoke in depth about his own study of the Koran which, he said, tells its followers that there is ‘no separation between man and nature’ and says we must always live within our environment’s limits.

Wow. One of two things is happening here. It could be the Prince’s statement is an implied admission of the utilitarian value of subverting to a stronger and growing power by showering it with accolades in an attempt to subdue its oppressive tendency before it finally takes over your country. Or the Prince actually believed what he said, in which case my confusion as to the truth of rumors concerning inbreeding within the royal family are finally answered – in the affirmative.

If one ever needed to understand the consequences of multiculturalism European style and its effects on an entire country, look no further than the Prince’s statements. Europe brought this on themselves, and the liberals in this country would love nothing more than to repeat this experiment here. Even legal immigration, if not combined with cultural assimilation, is a mortal threat to a country’s identity. Here I explained the difference between a rational approach to diversity and immigration and the so-called progressive version which, in the end, is nothing less than the subversion of the very identity of the country itself.

Alas, the rabbit hole goes much deeper. The following is from the Telegraph’s Anxiety of Queen over sharia law controversy (emphasis mine):

The Queen is distressed by the row over Islamic law which she fears threatens to undermine the authority of the Archbishop of Canterbury and damage the Church of England.

According to a royal source, the Queen has not expressed any view on whether Dr Rowan Williams was unwise to say it was “unavoidable” that aspects of the sharia legal system could be incorporated into English law…

…The Queen, who approved the appointment of Dr Williams on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, takes her role as Supreme Governor very seriously.

One royal source said: “I have no idea what her view is on what the Archbishop said about sharia law. But the Queen is worried, coming at such a difficult time in the Church’s history, that the fallout may sap the authority of the Church.”

The dismay felt by the Queen is mirrored by readers of The Daily Telegraph, who have written in great numbers to voice their concern at the consequences of the Archbishop’s remarks.

Another royal courtier said: “The whole thing has not been skillfully handled [understatement of the year]. It can only have undermined the authority of the Church.”

A Buckingham Palace spokesman declined to comment.

Good idea on deciding not to comment. What could one possibly say? I can just hear the British accent in this: “We regret to inform the people of Great Britain that many of our leaders appear to be lacking in certain intellectual capacity and an alarming number of them are quite obviously stuck on stupid. At this time there are no plans to combat this spreading and enormous display of incompetence and complete absence of rational thought and ask that you go about your daily lives as if nothing has happened. In conclusion, we can only appeal to the people to remain calm and display the patience so often attributed to the citizens of our great country. Given enough time we will find a way to blame this on Bush and life can return to normal.”

Sigh.

Not everyone appeared captivated by the Prince of Wales playing the role of the court fool. The woman looking down and to her right appears to be thinking, “Allah help us, this man is a few sheep shy of a full herd.”

“Follow the Islamic way to save the world”. England demonstrates to the world that anyone can be a Prince. Our reciprocation was to prove anyone can be a President. The score is even in the race to end Western civilization.

  1. And we wondered for so long why the Queen never abdicated the throne to Prince Charles, now we know. Long live the Queen.
